Meet our chiropractic team
Dr. Dwight Reid
Dr. Dwight Reid established Bridgetown Chiropractic and Wellness in 2006 after working as an associate here in the Portland area. He is passionate about chiropractic and truly loves his job. He practices with clinical excellence and continues to educate himself to expand his expertise in patient care and treatment. Dr. Reid employs a gentle, diversified adjusting technique and is skilled at helping patients recover from injuries and manage a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, as well as participating in a variety of outdoor sports, like motocross and hiking, and has a wholehearted love for creating and listening to music.
Dr. James Taylor
Dr. Taylor is a veteran of the National Guard and spent 6 years as a medic working within infantry platoons. He credits his trauma experience as a medic “in the field” during the war in Iraq for having changed both his personal life as well as his professional one. As an athlete, soldier, and provider, Dr. Taylor is faithful to the clinical audit process for determining, measuring, and reviewing patient progress and care. He is known for his gentle adjustments, as well as his use of various soft tissue modalities. His therapeutic approach also includes functional range release and therapeutic exercise. In addition to being a skilled practitioner of both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, Dr. Taylor truly enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter.
Dr. Hudson Clark
Dr. Hudson Clark is a highly skilled chiropractor who earned his degree from the University of Western States in 2016. With a unique expertise in soft tissue techniques and injury recovery, Dr. Clark is dedicated to helping patients achieve their functional goals in optimal health. He specializes in the diversified adjusting technique and aims to empower his patients by giving them the tools to take charge of their own health. Outside of his practice, Dr. Clark is a slopestyle skier, a windsurfer, and an avid musician. He also cherishes spending time with his son, a source of joy that reinforces his commitment to principles that guide his compassionate approach to patient care.
Dr. Maddie McCalder
Dr. Maddie McCalder was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where she developed a strong connection to the outdoors and a love for all things related to physical activity. This passion for movement led her to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and obtain her personal training certification. After working in the fitness world for a few years, she realized that she was craving a greater level of depth in her ability to help people achieve their optimal health, leading her to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Western States. With the goal of combining her fitness background into her practice, her approach to care incorporates gentle adjustments, soft tissue therapies including ART and myofascial cupping, and specific prescribed exercises to address the root cause of her patients’ symptoms and empower them to feel stronger in their bodies. Outside of bodywork, Dr. Maddie finds herself on long walks with her dog, skiing, hiking or dabbling in one craft or another.
